Here are the rest of the Egypt photos that I'm going to post (of the many hundreds in our collection). After this, I will move on to Greece, and by the time I'm done with those, maybe we will actually have a few Florence photos to share. The weather has not been very good so far in our time here, so we have no outdoor photos and cameras have been prohibited in almost every church and museum we've visited. But there's hope--I see the sun peeking through the clouds!
Here the kids are with Haisam, our Egyptologist who filled our heads with an unbelievable amount of information.
We miss him!
The giant crowned falcon looming over us is Horus, Jonah's favorite Egyptian god, the god who protects all the others (and the likely subject of a 6th grade report next year).
